Over the past few days, the internet has been agog with the news of the launch of Spark 5, the much expected mobile phone from Tecno. Just like the recently released Tecno Canon 15 Premier which has generated lots of positive reviews from users.
According to the company, Spark 5 is going to be the first in series that will be featuring Spark 5 Air, Spark 5 Pro and Spark 5 Lite. The mobile phone boasts of some interesting specs that will make you rush to the nearest market to get one for yourself. Read on to find them
Design and Display
The design of Tecno Spark 5 is one that will leave users scrambling to have a feel of it. For a low budget phone, not many will expect to find the quad camera setup and quad LED Flash well mounted at  the rear.
In terms of the display, Spark 5 boasts of a 6.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen, with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and 266 PPI density.
While the screen is covered with glass, other parts of the body is covered in plastic. 
It comes in 4 colour variants: Misty Green Orange, Ice Jadeite and Vacation Blue.
Camera and Battery
As far as the imaging is concerned, Spark 5 features a total of 5 cameras for photos and video recordings. These include the Quad camera (13MP, 2MP, 2MP and QVGA) at the rear, and an 8MP ultra wide lens at the front for selfies.
The most exciting part is that all of these cameras support artificial intelligence beautification, auto focus and lots of other features.
As far as the electricity is concerned, the 4G mobile phone is equipped with a 5000mAh non-removable battery that can last more than 24 hours without charge, according to tests.
Software and Hardware
As for the OS, Tecno Spark 5 runs on Android 10.0 (HI0S 6.1) powered by an octa-core  Mediatetek MT6761 Helio A22 processor, just like numerous mobile phones produced by the same company.
To ensure that buyers get a smooth experience on the Smartphone, it is equipped with a 2GB RAM and 32GB of Internal storage. This is expandable to about 64GB through the use of a microSD card.
In terms of connectivity, the mobile phone boasts of 3G and 4G LTE, dual Sim, Bluetooth V5, WiFi, Hotpot, USB On-The-Go etc.
For security, the device is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock and so on.
Is Tecno Spark 5 worth Buying?
From the beginning of this article, we have already made it clear that the Smartphone’s current price in Nigeria starts from N49,000 to N50,000.
Whether the Smartphone is worth buying at that amount or not is up to you to decide. But for me, I think it is definitely worth buying, based on the full specifications we have uncovered in this review.
